- To encourage and assist in the development of safe, fun, and family oriented boating.
- To provide facilities for docking and repairing of member's boats.
- To assist in an orderly usage of the Day Island Boat Haven as a moorage for members' boats and to engage in any activities which are of interest to all the members as boat owners.
- To organize a variety of club social events and organized club cruises to encourage members and their families to participate in the great fun associated with a yacht club.
- To provide opportunities for participation in interclub activities resulting in information sharing and reciprocal agreements.
